I’m being totally selfish. I need some “me time”. Son is going back to school tomorrow and wife is off next week. So I have some time for errands and gaming this week, while we have some together time next week while the boy is at school.

I am totally with you. I can feel that I am on the brink of burn out and not even looking forward to my leave now that the in-laws and kids are going to be around 24/7. So completely selfish on my part for thinking this way, but I really just want/need a break.
And also just need/want some time with my wife.
