Don’t Assume My Topic Thread

No KPIs here. I’m trying to put one together for my UNISA RPL application. But seeing as we don’t have that sort of paperwork at my company I don’t know what goes in it.

I would tailor make your job description to the task at hand. If your goal is to justify points towards your RPL for whatever qualification you are looking at, then list the parts of your job that match the SETA points you need first, then whatever else you do, leaving out making coffee for the boss :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Ouch Wyv, I am assuming that your family has voted for moving your dad out of qualified care into his home, against your informed wishes.

Luckily not, but we have found out there is something fishy going on. It sounds like they are not trusting my mum and our family choices for dad.

Ironically we had a sitdown meeting at the facility with the owner, and found out dad is really improving, he is getting group physio 2 times a week which is why he is doing so much better. We have been fighting with the medical aid to get approval for outside occupation and speech and physiotherapy. And the family doesnt want to believe we are trying to get clearance, something we all know can take a while. Especially since we have to show he is improving to the medical so they will cover this. Since he was kicked out of rehab for not doing the work, they are iffy on helping him further - and we all know how expensive it can get.

I would say it is simply a summation of the job role and responsibilities without going into too much detail. Leave the details for the spec and requirements of the position.

To give you an idea of the type of descriptions that are typically associated within our industry.

Yeah I’m sorry. My question must have done it.

I’m going @Shrike route and panel beating to the requirements.

Like the one you posted @Beo Sounds like advertising for a position. That like all the examples I saw, which confused me.

Replaced the gas-lift of my chair the other day, rubber mallet worked for a bit but started taking too long, so I broke out the 4 pound hammer and was able to pop out the old one, then put in the new one, feels so nice to be able to sit at a height that does not hurt my knees, also feels like I got better at gaming as well, since I am finally sitting with my arms above the desk.

I paid someone to do mine, R300 plus 6month warranty on it. He was done in 5mins and i got a slightly higher one so that my chair now is raised properly

Want a quick reminder of how old you are? Star Wars (aka Episode IV - A New Hope) was released on 25 May 1977, 45 years ago today!

lol very true

I was on a call with a recruiter yesterday and they asked when I matriculated, which was 2001, to which I responded and realised that I have been out of school longer than I have been in school.

In 1977 I was 9 years old, still didn’t see the first Star Wars until I was 18.

I must have seen the first Star Wars when I was around 11, at the Cinema in Eastgate.

Morning people of the palace,

I wasnt born when that was released but I saw it for the first time when I was about 10 at a girls birthday party - that was where my love for Sci-Fi was started. Before that I was only a fantasy nut.

May you all have a great day

I can say today Im feeling more human, still a bit mentally tired but after taking it easy yesterday, has helped a lot.
