I was planning a proper detailed post for Fable for after the Summer Games Fest updates - which I’m sure will still happen - but the XBox announcement yesterday has scuppered that. I will replace this post with a better one anyway, but just for those who were hoping the Fable wait was nearing an end…
I’m wondering how many others are also going to succumb to the GTA media domination? I won’t be surprised if CIG delay Squadron 42 into early 2027 for one.
Fine by me, even if it is just to delay it because of GTA 6, gives more time for bug fixing and polishing, I have waited years, I can wait a few more.

A part of me wants to pre-order this so badly, but I know I shouldn’t I know I should wait, most games have day one patches and bugs, but damnit, this game is making it hard to resist.
It’s tempting, but it ain’t going to come any faster and is it really worth it to get the heroic chicken suit and some in-game cosmetics?
For me it’s probably going to be a month or two of Game Pass subscription.
. But yes, I will most likely also just get gamepass again to play it, any game over R500 is a game I cannot afford
