The low specs is really not too bad for what you would expect a 2018 game requires. What is interesting though is the fact that this is the second PC spec reveal in as many weeks that specify 4K requirements as well as resolution and FPS. I might just be out of the loop a bit, but this is info that should’ve been part of PC gaming requirements and optimization for many years now. It’s goot to see it.

How was your limited time with it at rAge last year?

Well, I did get only 15 minutes with the game, it was really pleasant 15 minutes. The first impressions were that it feels like what you’d expect from a Far Cry game. The graphics and gameplay were really smooth and polished in the demo we got access to (I was playing it on a PS4 Pro though).

Didn’t get too into the details of the mechanics of the game. I got to order Boomer the dog to attach someone, which was really fun and awesome to see. But other than that, I had weapons, I shot bad guys in the face, they ran around trying to flank me, I ran out of ammo, I picked up one of their guns and shot the rest in the face with it. Then I ran through a little town that looked very authentic, I fell into a pond trying to figure out how the fishing works, and then the demo ended.

So far that early impression was good enough to make me excited for the game.

The requirements seem light for some reason.

Has anyone been able to play this yet somehow? For reviews or something.
I’m somehow intrigued by the villain and the whole story in this one. The trailers and promo videos look amazing, but then the gameplay videos I’ve seen just make it seem like every other Far Cry with badly animated NPC’s that you talk to to find your way. And there’s the dog factor. How am I supposed to play a game with a barking dog in it with my dogs lying with me while I play :man_shrugging: They go ballistic :grinning:

In short, I want to but I don’t want to.
