Fortnite Android beta announced

Epic Games founder and CEO Tim Sweeney has announced that Fortnite will go into open beta on Android in the coming week. Sweeney made the announcement at the Samsung Unpacked event in New York today (9 August), revealing that owners of Samsung Galaxy devices can play the beta immediately.

I really don’t get why you would want to play a shooter on your phone/small screen.

In other news… Epic Games company value set to overtake that of Apple’s… ok that’s a bit too hyperbolic but it’s crazy the amount of money they are making from this game and that’s greatly due to the fact that Fortnite is available on pretty much any device.

Haha, yeah. Apparently tencent (The company that Naspers got lucky with) has some sort of stake in Fortnite too.
