At 10 PM: Still getting 403 Forbidden errors on Chrome, but working fine on Firefox and Edge?

Turns out it’s the Premium Edition that’s being given away - pretty impressive, I think. You do need to have 2FA active on your Epic Store account in order to get the giveaway. Which, if you haven’t had turned on since the moment you created your EGS account, is an indicator that you probably shouldn’t be allowed on the Internet at all.

Got my GTA5. Now I’m almost curious to look into getting the launcher running on Linux…

Epic Launcher works with lutris, and BL3. Stuttering, but i didn’t do all the tweaks yet. Still playable, 75fps on high settings, GTX 1080. Since the rockstar launcher or steam launcher with proton works with GTA V, can’t be that hard to get it working with EGS launcher.

Ya, I did come across it working in Proton. I do, however, have to wonder if it will be even worth playing on Epic online… I mean, it is now free, and it will be swarmed with idiots.
