Day 14 of Epic Games Store’s 15 Days of Giveaways
Mortal Shell
Mortal Shell is a deep action-RPG that tests your sanity and resilience in a shattered world. Your adversaries spare no mercy, with survival demanding superior awareness and precision. Possess lost warriors, discover hidden sanctums, and face formidable foes.

@Wlad’s leaked source was spot on. At least I got the knight bit right, if nothing else
Mortal Shell is the 14th and last of the 24-hour giveways. The final giveaway will be available for a full week, through until next Thursday which is also the end of the Epic Holiday Sale. Last year this final giveaway were the three games in the Tomb Raider Collection, the year before that Jurassic World Evolution, and in 2019 it was a trio of Steep, Darksiders, and Darksiders II. The wrapping paper clue for tomorrow shows a heavily stylized compass which looks vaguely familiar??
There’s rumours that it’s Assassin’s Creed Origins.
That is 100% Dishonored mark of the Outsider. So I’m assuming all 3 Dishonored games .
Oh yeah, just googled the mark and as you say it’s 100% that. Very nice!
The Dishonored games grew on me. I didn’t like the first one that much and then loved the other two. The lore and world building are excellent. I would love to see more games in that setting.
Not sure if it’s permanently free, but see that one of the Add-Ons for the current free game, Mortal Shell, is available for free. It seems to be only an alternate sound track for boss-fight battles though with no additional game content.

You and me both. I really didn’t like it at first but it grew in me. Finished Dishonored 2 4 times .
There’s a 3rd?
Yeah there’s a spin off: Death of the Outsider. It was pretty decent. You could be more trigger happy with less consequences.
The debate is now whether it will in fact be all three Dishonored titles or not. There are some suggestions that the wrapping paper colour scheme points to Death of the Outsider, and others that say that because the Dishonored Definitive Edition is the only one of the three that is currently not on sale, it will be the one being given away.
Either way, yours and others’ comments about the quality of the Dishonored franchise is 100% accurate - worth claiming and playing whatever the giveaway turns out to be.
Day 15 of Epic Games Store’s 15 Days of Giveaways
Dishonored: Definitive Edition
Experience the definitive Dishonored collection. This complete compilation includes Dishonored as well as all of its additional content - Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, The Brigmore Witches and Void Walker’s Arsenal.
There it is, the final game in this year’s Epic Games Store Holiday Giveaway. An oldie but a goodie, in the version that includes all the DLC extras. Definitely worth playing if you haven’t yet. And a solid reintroduction to the franchise even if you have. It’ll be free for a week, so no need to rush out to grab it.
Also free this week is Eximius: Seize the Frontline:
EXIMIUS is a FPS/RTS hybrid that focuses on squad-based combat. The game features an intense 5v5 multiplayer experience with each team comprising of 4 Squad Officers and one Commander.

Also worth remembering that there is only the next week left in the annual Epic Games Holiday Sale. Sale prices and 25% off coupons all expire next week Thursday at 6pm. That said, if you wanted to, you could complete your own Dishonored Collection for a little more than R200 currently. (Sadly, that’s just R40 short of being eligible for the coupon discount, so maybe take the opportunity to add something else to the cart too. If only that DS: Director’s Cut upgrade was eligible )
It also looks like EGS will be continuing with their weekly giveaways into the new year, with both Kerbal Space Program (which does show a store page for some reason) and Shadow Tactics - Aiko’s Choice scheduled to go free next week.
FYI If you have prime you can also grab a Dishonored 2 key for GOG.
I wonder if this will result in the DC version being given away after all?
Daymare: 1998 free on GOG for a limited time.
Aiko’s Choice is excellent. It’s a spinoff of Shadow Tactics (which was also free in the past). I love both games and cannot recommend them enough!
Free this week on Epic Games Store
In Kerbal Space Program, take charge of the space program for the alien race known as the Kerbals. You have access to an array of parts to assemble fully-functional spacecraft that flies (or doesn’t) based on realistic aerodynamic and orbital physics.
Shadow Tactics - Aiko’s Choice
Aiko’s Choice is a brand-new standalone addon to the beloved stealth tactics game Shadow Tactics. Set in Japan around the Edo period, you take control of kunoichi adept Aiko and her deadly assassin friends to hunt down the ghosts of her past.
Next week: First Class Trouble.
I loved Desperados III which is made by the same developers so Shadow Tactics and now Aiko’s Choice are both on my to-play list
Nice! I been wanting Kerbal for ages.
