It’s Tuesday #1 in October. That means it’s Game Pass announcement day. Here’s what’s on the slate for the next two weeks. There’s swords and zombies and rats and weird looking evil things aplenty.

Better play some Art of Rally before it goes off rotation. I must admit that’s my least favourite part of Game Pass. I missed out on finishing Myst and The Forgotten City because they went off the service. Admittedly I had got distracted from them by other games and should’ve come back to them sooner.
I felt this as well, but then I realized that it really just means that I was right not to purchase the game outright in the first place, so these days I take it as confirmation of my genius when I miss out on a Game Pass game.
Likely only for new Game Pass signups, so just take that into consideration. I am not sure if that is the case, but just keep in mind that this is how these things typically work, still good value then for 3 months of Game Pass at about R120 pm for their Ulitmate subscription.
Round number 2 for November seems a little subdued on the surface, but a closer look reveals a number of interesting Day One Releases, and a sprinkling of some other quality games tucked in the bunch. A couple of Game Preview titles too to put through their paces.
Pentiment (Cloud, Console, and PC) Day One Game Pass Release

It is the usual “New Signups Only” so it might work if you upgrade to Ultimate for a month, claim the trial, and see if it runs when you go back to PC Game Pass? Either way, you could get Apple TV+ for a month over the holidays for the cost of the PC > Ultimate price?
