It looks like enough people dropped Game Pass to make MS take notice. Nice to have them drop the prices. Great reduction on Ultimate, for PC Game Pass not so much.
Not enough at least to lure me back at this stage - but maybe I’ll grab a month or two sub at some stage to play some games that grab me.
I think they were correct in dumping new COD releases from the subscription and have them join a year later. I don’t think COD is a priority for GP subscribers.
Same, I am patiently waiting for Fable to release on gamepass, then will pay for a month just to complete that. And if by the time Fable releases, and Doom: The dark Ages, as well as forza horizon 6 is still on gamepass, well then, that is going to be a good month of gaming for me.

Ok so I canceled my sub since I played what I wanted to play, and whilst I was busy doing that I got some options, one of them was I can keep it going until the end of the “month” then it would stop and I would have to start the sub service again. The other option however, was that I could stop it right now, and then get my R209 back, which really took me back, as surely this could be exploited like crazy right? That would basically mean, I just played 2 AAA games from start to finish for literal free.
Now I kept my sub to go on until the 14th but I am curious have any of you canceled your sub yet? would you get the refund? I mean call me super paranoid but I feel like if I just keep buying gamepass for a month, play the games I want and then ask for refund, eventually they might stop letting me buy gamepass XD, might get banned, because surely this is not a good business tactic.
I did something similar in the early Game Pass days and didin’t get that cancel immediately option, only the “you can continue using until…” one. Weird that they’re giving you your full payment back. Definitely something that can be exploited. Wonder if it’s a CPA related thing for first time purchases? Have you ever had a PC Game Pass subscription before?

Planet crafter is a really good game if you like no combat, slowly terraform a planet kind of vibe. It is a good fun excursion and rewards long term planning with long term results. A little too long sometimes. I have played it a lot during early access.
