How many funny rebrandings to avoid the licensing issues can you spot? I do worry that many of those brands trademark their fonts and colour schemes as well though. I wonder if this falls under parody or artistic interpretation?

Both look so damn good, especially Fable, the NPC reactions just threw me back to the original Fable like nothing else, I cannot wait for this game.

WipeOut x Pod Racer. I’m totally there.

So this looks random and interesting, going to try it out.

EDIT: That was quite boring, both teams just run into each other dying and spawning over and over until you either win or lose somehow, maybe I just don’t understand the mechanics, but was not very fun for me.

Oh wow, it’s a fan remake of CnC Renegade. If I remember the multiplayer part, it’s a base vs. base game where you need to get into the enemy headquarters and blow the core up or something. The gameplay is a mix of FPS and vehicles - kind of like Battlefield. Did you play with bots?

No, played with humans on a UK server, 32 vs 32, and yes in order to win, the base buildings i.e barracks, airstrip, refinery, etc. need to be destroyed, just don’t ask me how that happens, as even when we won the one match, I had no clue how we got to this point especially after 99% of the game was just a stalemate.

There are superweapons as well, like the nuke and the ION cannon, but in order to use those you have to physically run and plant a beacon somewhere to target the location where it needs to fire, but then the enemy team can just go and disarm the beacon, which I guess makes sense from a balance perspective, but because they are so difficult to use, they rarely are, and even when they were used, it did not feel like they turned the tide of battle in any way.
