Currently busy on this area
Hey, this is where I am too! Tried mapping it out as I went along - then got lost and tried to chance my way out. Will have to methodically go through it later.
I started playing today and not having played Myst before I can totally see why it was so highly rated at the time. Even by today’s standards it’s a great puzzle game.
I’ve completed the Stoneship and Mechanical and I’m currently busy in the maze of Selenitic
Struggled tremendously with the sound related puzzles as well. Then found a hard of hearing accessibility option to turn on labels/captions/subtitles for sounds. Was the only way we could manage it.
Can’t remember what the option is called exactly, but it’s obvious once you look for it. It puts text descriptions of the sound on the screen “ping”, “pop”, etc.
I don’t think I could even run this on my PC.
It’s not too demanding if you don’t enable fancy things like ray tracing.
I finished the Medieval stage in Myst but haven’t gone back to it, don’t know if I will. I used a walkthrough and will probably play the rest of the game with one if I do go back
Still need to start up The Ascent.
Im enjoying Ascent, took a while to get used to the controls. As for Myst, Im waiting…
Ok getting somewhere slowly in Ascent, Im loving the game, the multiplayer tho is very buggy.
Am I still the only one doing this one?
We have no idea where we are, travel is a nightmare in the game so we keep getting lost
Um I actually forgot about this to be honest. After Greedfall I started Forza Horizon 5.
I stalled in the maze in Myst and then got distracted by all the new shiny releases. Only one day to complete the rest… oops
It will take me till end of the holidays to finish it.
Myst I wont lie I gave up
I was actually really enjoying it. Got stuck into it for a day and then got stuck in the tunnels I should just get a guide for that part so I can move on to the other good stuff.
Dude the guide didnt help me at all
Haha okay, I’ll try a walkthrough video or something for that part then
If you find you wanna do it for me?
I could share the video here at least - if I find one that works
Otherwise maybe Mr @GregRedd will show you the way - since he completed this ages ago!
I cant figure out the directions to go never mind the bells and sound descriptions
