Thanks for the games yesterday guys! Haha there were so many people in the chat. Is it like that every day?

I won’t be able to play tonight but will play again tomorrow evening.

I managed to finish The Forsaken’s story. What a great expansion to the game! I’m now hunting down the poeced to unlock The Dreaming City…

Everyone just about left when I got there. I played till just before 2 last night.
Not very far though yet

how does it rank up to the first 2 expansions? because i found them very mellow.

Yeah was fun. Now we must just teach the bastards to shut up in the cut scenes.

Absolutely incredible. The 6 hours I spent on it flew by in the blink of an eye. Managed to keep me completely engaged. It’s cohesive, challenging and dark. Really a world apart from the other expansions, even the main story. I cannot recommend it enough!

Yeah I really want to play it. Just sitting and waiting for a price drop.

 Sorry about that…on that note you can bind a mute all button in Discord for cut scenes. (Just say’n :stuck_out_tongue: )

Is everyone playing forsaken? Or starting the game from scratch?
I just did the quest where you have to fight the swarm of those pumps on the rug in the ocean.

The game reminds me very much of Gears of War in a way. The story line, how the creeps run to you, the movement. The music in tense situations

a Bungie titles mechanics reminds you of another Bungie titles mechanics; This is not a coincidence by any stretch of the imagination.

Forza Horizon 4 mechanics does not remind me of Forza 7 mechanics at all

Was just making a comment that the games are extremely similar

That’s because “Playground Games” deals with a large chunk of the “Horizon” titles in the Forza series where Turn10 holds the IP and develops the core “Motorsport” titles.

Interesting thing about Playground Games is that most of their staff previously worked on Fuel, Colin McRae Dirt, Project Gotham Racing, Burnout, Driver, Need for Speed, Juiced and Wipeout. Those all serve as inspiration for mechanics and techniques used in Horizon.

Likewise with Bungie, they went straight from wrapping up Halo Reach to doing Destiny, and almost immediately started with Destiny 2 after the launch of Destiny. Most of the key staff remained in place throughout.

Will start it this weekend. finished downloading this morning…lets see what all this fuss is about

Started from scratch.

Started from scratch I’m just on the free trial.

I don’t really understand the context. He was talking about Gears of War (Epic) and how it feels similar to Destiny (Bungie). Obviously the follow-up discussion on Halo is relevant…

Either way, I loved Halo 3 back on XBOX360 and would’ve loved to play the subsequent titles. I guess Destiny will suffice.
