I don’t really ‘get’ this game yet, feels like I don’t know what’s going on.
Regardless, I’m having fun playing it. Got some purple weapon drops last night, still 8 levels to go before I can use it though.
There’s so much information on the weapons’ details blocks. Don’t know what it all means or whether there’s in-game implications, like the frame of the gun. Will need to do some Googling
Likewise - I found myself wondering who are these Fallen the Hive, the Vex etc.
Here’s a helpful overview of Destiny’s lore - https://www.pcgamer.com/a-complete-guide-to-destiny-lore-for-pc-gamers/
I’m tempted to play on my laptop instead of the PS4 just so I can play with you guys, since the game is free now.
Now if only the bloody battle.net store would load the Destiny 2 page
Played with Wyvern and her boet yesterday. We did some stuff on Titan.
I still hate Titan
Jislaaik that place makes me feel sick. It was fun tho - I hope we didnt get to distracted crusader?
WTF is up with that beast of a bad guy walking around. Can’t remember its name now. 1 shot and I am dead
We ran into him as well.
I will be playing tonight. Don’t know if I should play single or multiplayer. I wonder if I should do a @Blazzok and get through the story on my own. What are the rest of you doing?
Forsaken dude, not sure what the story is with him, but yea that hurt
We are redoing the story, but also faffing about - ask crusader I get distracted way to easily. I also wanna play on my main to work on my gear
The story so far is quite good though.
I’d like to do story and levelling stuff solo, and end game stuff I’ll join in for some multiplayer fun
Well if you guys need help during the story just gimme a shout
The game only clicked for me after about 10 hours or so. Since then I’ve spent countless more, to the point of feeling urged to buy the expansions (which I did). Since then it’s been my go-to game whenever I have some spare moments.
I’d recommend you finish the story at a leisurely pace to learn the mechanics of the game, then embark on some strikes and adventures on the planets to aid in leveling. Then jump into some 6v6 PvP and eventually some mano-el-mano fights with others. Once you’re comfortable with it all, we can form a fire team and do a raid! I’ve yet to even attempt a raid in Destiny 2 and I’ve sunk 100+ hours in it already…
Ahhhh… Fresh Meat for Jim Sterling’s rants next week.
Pretty much, sadly I’m interpreting this as “more microtransactions” and “more aggressive monetization”
Ok so im going to start the game tonight, sorry i know im late, but just been so busy… Also changed my mind because of @Talentloos so im gona play on laptop and not on PS4…
those are Elite high value targets. there are a couple of them. looks like you have to be 345+ light to tackle them
good man. PC is the way to go.
Ah massive download completed, will be giving this game a go soon! Any newbie hints before heading in :p?
