AND YOU NEED TO DO IT TO GET THE FULL CREW ACHIEVEMENT

That’s weird. I got the full crew achievement but couldn’t romance her because I didn’t tell her to stay.

I’m reading some other forum posts of people saying yea she showed up at Kaer Morhen even though not asked to stay…Thing is though I was fairly “cold” to her, focusing on being “friends only”. so didnt kiss her at the party, didnt do any of the stuff that mightve “led her on”…Guess we’ll see. Will be recruiting people when I get home tonight, will keep EVVVVERYONE posted

Lets hope this redditor is correct!
For some weird reason, almost all of the online guides got this wrong and haven’t been updated. It’s not possible to lose the achievement by not getting Triss’ help. The only achievement-relevant allies that can be missed by making the “wrong” storyline choices are:
- Keira Metz, if you don’t convince her to go to Kaer Morhen at the end of “A Towerful of Mice”
- Hjalmar, if you don’t complete the quests “King’s Gambit” and “Coronation” and put an An Craite on the throne (edit: doesn’t matter if it’s Hjalmar or Cerys)
- Roche and Ves, if you don’t complete the quest “Eye for an Eye”
Everyone else is either not needed, or can be enlisted simply by talking to them during “Brothers in Arms”.

That post is indeed correct, the only way to get Keira is to tell her, If Ceryes is Queen, Hjalmar would come, If Hjalmar is King Ceryes would come, and if Ves is Killed during the quest Roach will not join you on your adventure

Yea everyone else I’ve sorted so far. Told both Keira and Lethro to join, have completed ALL sidequests that have sprung up (chose Ceryes, and helped Ves) till this point to best of my ability.

Triss will be at Kaer Morhen no matter what you tell her. You might still need to do her quest helping the mages. You also don’t need Letho for the achievement. I was very cold towards Triss (because that’s what she deserves) and Letho isn’t even in my game (killed him in TW2) and I still got it.
