Discovered the Casino yesterday. Spent 30 minutes after the tedious intro to the casino cutscene, trying to work out what I had to do to place a bet. Then discovered that I actually can’t play any of the games in the Casino because South Africa…? 
Something about gambling legislation and the ability of GTAVO players to buy fake GTA$ with real money which can then be used to buy fake casino chips to use to potentially win more fake casino chips that can then be converted back into fake GTA$. I mean, I can do pretty much exactly that on many other “gambling” games - Zynga Hold’em Poker comes to mind - without an issue, but for some reason it’s not allowed on GTAVO?
If it’s any consolation, we aren’t alone in this:
Yup so lame that you cant access or use any of the Casino options. I use a VPN and it by passes that restriction so i can at least spin the wheel

so I flinched and re-downloaded GTA again this weekend… twice…

I must say the Online world has changed abit, not alot but abit. You can see the difference between older players and new players. The players above 100 do the normal thing and dont did not bother me at all when trying to do stuff. The New players it seems that they always thing GTA online is a killing field. Some noobs go around killing everyone they see and then it turns out when you fight back it becomes a 1 v 5 situation.
I have how ever found some players that want to play the game but yet again playing with random people is so bad, almost impossible to get things done.
But all in all GTA V online has added so many new things to do but the grind is real, things cost so much and it does take time to upgrade and do things. I still feel that playing with friends or people you kinda know is better than doing it solo or trying to play with random people online.
Yeah was saying the same thing to my mate over the weekend. the new people don’t bother with the career stuff. They just want to blow stuff up.
That being said, I did encounter 2 very persistant griefers that were definitely not new players. One was on an Opressor and the other in a flying Delorean. I went and spent $75k on a homing rocket launcher because of those dickheads
yes some level 60 dude was killing me on a Opressor as well not much you can do when hes on that bike and you getting killed the whole time. I asked him if he did not have anything better to do than kill people with the Opressor. The dude then wanted a war with me off the bike “facepalm” I did not have time for you wars.
then went on my way the dude still tried to kill me while i was in passive mode
