How many game clients have you got installed on your PC?

I’m sure most if not all of us have Steam installed on our PC, but these days with the various publishers wanting to make use of their own platforms you find that the amount of game clients is growing rather than shrinking.

So what game clients have you got installed on your PC?

This is my list:

  • Steam
  • Origin
  • Uplay
  • Epic Games Launcher
  • GOG Galaxy
  • Battle.net Launcher
  • Twitch client (for all the games from Twitch Prime)

Not that many but mostly these

  • Steam
  • Origin
  • Uplay
  • GOG Galaxy
  • BattleNet

Pretty much exactly this list… You can include Rockstar Games and Windows Store as dependencies for other games as well.

GoG, Bnet and Steam

Steam
Origin
Uplay
GOG Galaxy
BattleNet

Steam, Origin and Battlenet

  • Steam
  • Origin
  • Battle.net
  • Uplay
  • Epic Games Launcher

But I only use Steam, might as well not have the others installed.

Steam
Origin
Uplay
Epic launcher
Games for windows live, offline profile (for really old games like flatout 2 ultimate carnage and the club)

Yeah same list for me, except I use the Twitch client to update my WoW addons with (so much easier than manually checking them each time).

Steam and Origin

That’s it.

I find them to be a total pain. Now even my NLE / DAW plugin stores have them.
Just waiting for all the clients to become subscription compulsory.

Steam
Battle net
Uplay
Origin
Epic Games Launcher
Rockstar Social Club Launcher

Soon there will also be the Bethesda launcher for those who want to play Fallout 76

Add any more launchers and they become as annoying as swapping CDs used to be.
