Thanks I forgot about those, I always turn it down otherwise it deafens me, WHY must all games start at the loudest settings possible?

I usually start out with graphic settings on highest since I still like to fool myself into thinking that my 1070 is up for the task. Later I give up and drop it to medium.
I also change difficulty to easiest 'cause life is hard enough as it is, m’kay? Gives me a false sense of accomplishment when I complete/win the game.
I’ll play around with stuff like motion blur. If it looks nice, I keep it.

Most of the time I don’t really change any settings on a new game, perhaps just check that the graphics settings and resolution is set correctly and check what the control settings are.
