Quick question - if I hard reset do I lose my days? aka I am on 20 days played. . . . I know I need the reset to really catch up and get somewhere faster. But I don’t wanna give up that time played!

It does, but I’ll take it out for the next update. Don’t reset yet. I also want to keep it.

Then a something that is slightly irritating - when I boost with an advert before I boost my buying multiplier will be on +10, but when getting back to the game after the ad it will reset to +1 and that is when I sometimes get that weird bug with the multiplier not displaying correctly.

I thought it would be nice to always take you back ‘home’ but it is annoying me too. Extra clicks to get back to where I was. And yes, I also think it is where the phantom glitch hides, just haven’t had a chance to look for it.

The one thing I do like is when I have the boost button open and waiting for the countdown, then I still can click! This is how I get most of my taps in and find the sky objects

Nice. I also arrange the scrolls in specific ways so I can see and tap.

I have also figured out that the reason I don’t always find the special objects is that they are right on the edge of the screen - I have tapped on a few invisible ones

Yup. Still need to see why the spawn boundaries aren’t working.

yes and no - it was just a curiosity - I don’t play like that or use split screen at all. But I know some people do

There appears to be a display bug with the Away Bonus. I think someone might have mentioned this before, but I can reliably get it to show the 2 hour bonus every 10 minutes. I think when claiming it you only get the 10 minutes away bonus though.

Repro Steps: (I work in support and with Devs all the time)
Open game when you were away for 2+ hours.
Claim your 2 hour bonus
Leave the game open and lock your phone
Unlock phone after ±10 minutes
The away bonus will show the same 2+ away time as before.

Complete the ad and lock the phone when on the Main “Obs” screen.

Yes. First bonus was for the full 2 hours. Second one shows full 2 hour value on the bonus screen, but only gave the 10min bonus.

Edit: This is the reward from doubling the second (10 minutes away) bonus screen that showed a 2 hour 6,xxx Qa bonus

Good morning. The Upgrades Update is now live on the Play Store at https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=main.idleobs. Leave it to auto update otherwise update directly from the store.

Idle Observatory v0.9.23 changelog:

• Added first phase of upgrades - The Alpha batch of upgrades has been added, letting you upgrade your observatories to increase the value of their data. There will be more upgrades, this is just to see how it goes and if the functionality works.
• Added Active Playtime stat - With the current total playtime already ticking away I’ve added an active playtime timer for everyone to show off their dedication on their stats list.
• Tweaked Formula balancing - Made some slight changes to a few calculations. Now to see how it affects gameplay.
• Made some code changes to try to eliminate the phantom glitch - Moved a lot of code around to try and get rid of the phantom glitch that’s been haunting us from the start. Hopefully this sorts it out, unless I made it even worse!..
• Changed limits for Bonus star spawn locations to try to prevent off screen spawn - Added more boundaries for the Bonus Star not to go past when it randomly spawns to prevent it spawning off screen or right on the edge of the screen.

So there it is. Give it a try and see how it goes. I’ll be adding more in the meantime. Please see the Trello for info on that.
