Jengo (South African Game)

It looks like we have a lot of kickstarters currently happening for South African games. Jengo is a point-and-click adventure game and is currently looking for funding over at

It looks great! I just love my point-and-click adventure games and the production quality looks top notch on Jengo.

For those unfamiliar with Fig: It’s a place where you can invest in games or just fund them in the more traditional Kickstarter way. They only select high quality games.

Go fund them now!

They’re doing well so far. The game does look interesting indeed. I’ll do my part for sure. Mzanzi fo sho!!!

I remember they were at Rage last year, and featured on Glitched. Looks cool.

South African devs seem to like creating Point and Click games.

That’s interesting. I made one ages ago. Which other ones are there?

I’m thinking of Stasis.

Ah yes, Stasis is interesting with its isometric graphics. I look forward to their next game Beautiful Desolation.

Announcing Jengo on Switch!!!

This looks like a game I can enjoy! For some odd reason it reminds me of Full Throttle

Demo out now.

A few things worthy of note, though: the demo doesn’t reflect the current state of the game - nor its current developed content. We have deliberately chosen to include something that’s akin to a “vertical slice” of the game. It is not exactly the beginning of the game, but you’ll still be able to experience it properly without being lost in the plot. You’ll be able to experience the general feel, tone and humour of Jengo, and maybe even look for a little Easter or two. Let’s see how many understated references you’ll catch!
