June was traditionally the E3 month. The great and the glorious of the gaming world would gather in Los Angeles for the multiday festival that was the Electronic Entertainment Expo. Then, starting in 2019 with a number of big name withdrawals, Covid shutdowns, and growing mutterings of mismanagement by the ESA stepped in and E3 is, once again, not happening in 2022.
Also just found out that Xbox will also be having an extra 90-minute long “Showcase Extended” event this year. It’s scheduled to run next Tuesday (14 June) at 19:00 on all the same Xbox channels as the main event.
Stay tuned for the Xbox Games Showcase Extended on June 14th at 10am PT where we will share new trailers, take deeper looks at the news from the Xbox & Bethesda Games Showcase and speak with some of your favorite game creators.
