The franchise might yet live again. It has been acquired by THQ Nordic including other assets from 38 Studios.
Now personally I feel they’re acquiring way too many IP’s and not developing enough new ones.
Yeah they are just buying up and re-releasing (sometimes not great) ports of older games. I did enjoy KoA a lot but I don’t think I’d play it again. The gameplay was great, but I found the story terribly uninteresting. A sequel could work though.
I liked the KoA gameplay and story, wouldn’t mind another one, don’t know what they could change but i think it would be cool to see what this company will do with the IP
