Linux mint

Thanks. I saw q4os has a small install disc, but it won’t have internet, and the guy’s not really computer literate, so I don’t want him to have to install any software after the fact. He just wants to watch movies and play music with it.

(hopefully a P3 will play his video files :|)

if its a 1ghz or above coppermine T or tualatin P3 it should be fine (playing avi’s or non HD standard mp4’s) but anything below 1ghz will probably struggle alot and also movie playback will be linked to his gpu so you’re gonna have to find linux agp drivers for his card (if he’s got one and not running obgfx)

@DohcWP is there a easy way to share things between win 10 and linux?

you will have to set up a samba server, if i try to explain it i will confuse myself
