Mass Effect: Legendary Edition

Not going to lie, this thread makes me nostalgic because a few of you are the same folks I used to talk to about ME back in the MyG days… Is this what it’s like to feel old???

Bwahahahaha thanks for that, now I will have to start a thread!

GG. Done with ME1, now going to 2, completed all side quests and exploration stuff, full paragon, fem shep and romanced Liara.

I am still so far behind, the sad part of only being able to play 2 hours a day.

I have been lucky these past two days, since I work from home, when nothing comes in I get to play

have you perhaps landed on a planet with the Mako yet?

I have done a few planets

Is it just me or did they put a silencer on the Mako’s gun?, doesn’t sound as beefy as it used to.

yea Im also liking the beter movement with the mako

yeah huge bonus that it has a booster now and not just some hover things.(although I removed the “drive with mouse” feature as it makes fighting thresher maws very difficult). Also don’t be me, I went the entire game thinking they removed the aim feature until the literal last mission, and last second that you get to drive the Mako only to find out the aim button is “ctrl” :man_facepalming:

naw I figured that out fast, so had no issues , I also drive better with the mouse.

Done with ME2, and started now with 3, honestly not seeing anymore graphics improvements with ME2 and 3, some dialog and mission changes I believe, but I could be wrong. Difficult to remember every conversation. In Me2, made sure to save everyone in the last mission, no romance option since I am going Full liara.

I wanted to do the normandy ship in no man’s sky, but you have to start from scratch with no resources and build up to get it, so screw that noise, I did not play 59 hours only to start from the beginning, not in that type of game at least.

And I am done with ME3, won’t say which ending I chose, romanced liara obviously, and now feeling to go and play andromeda

Also I think due to what other people said with ME3 being the worst in the series, I kinda forgotten how ME3 really was, and now I honestly think it is now the best in my opinion, especially the funny mission where they make jokes about the things you did in the previous games (don’t want to spoil it since it really is funny and worth the time to play.)

I agree, ME3 wasn’t bad or the worst and the Citadel DLC was awesome. Even the ending I suppose wasn’t necessarily bad. I think the biggest issue with the ending was that Bioware was building all the hype about how decisions in the first two games are going to have impact on the ME3 ending just to end up having the same game and ending with a few tweaks. If they didn’t hype the whole thing up so much, I think the ending would have been much better received.

As for Andomeda… I’ve played it twice and every time I promise myself, never again. The game feels like it takes forever with silly quests and wasting time.

Hmmm… I see I can actually buy Steam wallet vouchers using ebucks… So maybe I’ll be getting it sooner after all. Was going to wait for a special, but free is free.

How do you do that? I have loads of eBucks that need spending!

Um if you guys are going to use ebucks at face value then rather sell them to me.

You go to the FNB app → Vouchers → Online vouchers.

The 40% discounts are scarce these days and the R1500 limit is ridiculous. I usually first shop around to see if I can’t use it on a discount, but I usually earn at least R1500 worth of ebucks a month so there isn’t any point in saving it up. I just avoid spending ebucks on things that has a high earning ratio (i.e. fuel or Checkers).
