I downloaded the MEW Android app on a whim some time ago. When I went tell a friend to get it, he said he couldn’t find it. I checked the app store like on my phone and… not available. What happened?
I never knew there was an app. I just went to the website on chrome and it installed automatically
It would make sense of that were the case, I don’t remember how I got it in the first place.

Yes. It’s a PWA, so you can install it as an “app”. It’s just the website with some offline content stored in a dedicated “chromeless” browser.
