Multichoice to add Netflix and Amazon Prime to existing subscribers

Multichoice announced it will include Netflix and Amazon Prime TV to their existing subscribers, making them a co tent aggregator of note.

No word yet on when this will happen, or how it would affect pricing. If this will be an added benefit for Premium subscribers, like Showmax and Joox, then it really will turn into a great deal.

They also mention their dishless DStv subscription model, which is something I have been asking for for ages!

This is probably going to mean we will be paying more for netflix in future… Multichoice cant even run showmax properly without certain shows buffering etc, dont know how they will handle even more subscribers

Hopefully this won’t take away from Netflix’s standard operations. As best I can tell, MultiChoice is just going to be aggregating Netflix and Amazon content.
