So in the thread about Circuit Superstars I casually mentioned this mysterious semi-existent game called Nitro Racers.
So interesting thing, for me anyway, I first took notice of this game when I saw Mini Motor Racing X among the VR games on Steam and was looking for more like it. It actually reminded me of a game I played a long time ago that I couldn’t remember what it was called. Eventually got reddit to help me out, and it turned out the reason I couldn’t find it anywhere was because it was never actually released.

Nitro Racers is a video game developed the Derry-based game studio Torc Interactive and published in Europe by Studio 3DO for the PC. The game was set for release in June 1997, but was never released. A demo for the game appeared on Gambler CD #9 . Nitro Racers is a top-down racer. It just got weirder, it turns out, over a year after I posted this, Nitro Racers was actually released on GoG and Steam. A game from 1997, never released, suddenly available out of nowhere. What a strange coincidence.

Nah I haven’t bought it, I thought it was cute back in the late 90’s but I’m sure there was a reason it was never actually released.
