ESL CSGO on now for those wanting to watch

ok so you and your colleagues get told to give a tech demo to CTO / junior manager type person , but you cant demo because there is no access to the system to demo yet, so you decide they must want a Slide based presentation you ask for more specific details but alas get given vague feedback, so you make a presentation which looks meh admittingly but is technical because i’m technical not sales not marketing, I am even told mine was the most technical.

Right so now my question, when given constructive criticism do you always remain silent and take it or only if its really applicable and therefore constructive , in which case if its not you defend your actions , I know that management does not like it when you defend your point , being criticized for not making it look good or containing content which is more salesy in my opinion is not applicable for the situation especially due to lack of proper instructions

The question you stated reads quite difficult, but my take on it is thus:

Most people will try and give “constructive criticism” purely because the want to feel they’re adding value to the project. When you have legitimately good reasons for doing something in a specific way, don’t be afraid to state your case. If it ends up in a mini debate and you realise you had it all wrong, thank them for the contribution and make an effort to implement whatever it is they recommend. You’ll learn a lot from the experience.

You get home and you find out windows is updating itself again :expressionless: fun times

Happened to me last night put my downloads on so it would be complete but yeah update restart no downloads so had to wake up this morning to set everything up again for downloading.

I also hate that pro and home version have such different update cycles.

it appears all my series has finished downloading before it restarted, i dont want to use the media machine thats still on win7 to do the downloads cause then i’ll have 2 machines running during the day which would be pointless.

This town’s people are greedy AF
