Morning.

Somehow I’m almost awake. I woke up from 1am to 4am this morning to watch the first match of the NHL playoffs.

Jets won!

That sucks… I never understood the need for flu shots. How long does one last?

the flu vac makes it so that you dont get that hectic flu during winter when everyone else gets sick.

i have no idea how long it lasts but i assume just this winter

Ya, that’s what I thought… Seems like a waste when you have a chance of getting sick anyways…

Still, sorry it’s affecting you badly.

Morning all

My tummy bug is over! yay!

Bloody hayfever is driving me nuts tho - stupid dandelion seeds all over the show

Woke up thinking it saturday, pity it isnt.

Need to get my sleeping pattern back on track

Also taking the Fluff to the Vet tomorrow for a snipping procedure. And since he is a one ball dog, its gonna be an interesting thing cos they need to explore his abdomen to find the missing one.

Is there a way to permanently disable windows 10 updates

None of the method I try are working as they used to. Or, at least a way to remove the .dll responsible for triggering updates.

i dont think there is but you could just schedule the updates to a date in future(which is what i do)

Same, you cannot stop it but you can schedule it. I do that as well

hi people, its after meth day and I get to wake up with a massive headache lets see how much coffee it takes to make it go away.

A vaccine should last infidelity, unfortunately it only works against that specific strain of flu the minute the Virus mutates or you get infected with another existing variant you are out of luck

not really , you can tell windows not to update for a while if you are on business, I’m going to ask the question though why would you want to not update, unless you have bandwidth restrictions the odds an update breaks something especially on windows 10 is relatively low and the benefits from better security is far higher than the risk of unrecoverable system.

Yes there is. I followed the below guide.

Windows will still inform you that updates are available, but won’t automatically download them.

So I just manually download the updates when it suites me.

thats only going to work if you have Pro or higher though, also I tried something similar a few months ago on some VM’s I have projects running on and It did not work so it might have been patched out, would be curious to see if it does work.

Pro and up comes default with gpedit, but you can install it for any windows 10 ver

I hate my area - we have no coverage as of yet - none of the companies have put cables in - but the trenches has been dug. So we have the points - just no cable

Also @DohcWP what the frack did you do to your car’s window!

rear window was thrown in, i didnt want to pay R3500 for a replacement so i went and bought a complete second hand tailgate for about 2k (luckily it is also silver) im still deciding if im going to leave that one on or source a replacement glass and put my original one back on (this one has a small dent in it). bottom line is life is just full of doooooose. frustrates me just thinking about it, unecessary expenses that was never in my budget.

in other news me and one of my longtime buds have decided to started a small part time venture wont divulge any details yet
