Our cockhead MD has declared that there is no chance of a day off on Monday.
Thatās bad man - donāt think people realize that work stress (and I can only imagine what mental stress ex cops carry with them) can make you snap at some point.
The fact that my boss was a serious diabetic, which stress obviously didnāt help with, makes everyone who knew him feel that the senior management have some culpability.
Especially since he struggled on his own for ages, getting leveled by directors at meetings, getting increasingly distant, having marital problems due to being made to work 12-14 hours a day - then when the new guy arrived, he was given access to three subordinate managers to help him - so why didnāt the previous guy get that?
Sorry for the venting, but fuck Iām more pissed off than I am upset.

Iām not even sure if I typed this on the forum, but my PSU died last week so I ordered a new one which came last week Thursday.
Due to being kak busy, I only opened it up Friday evening to find my order incomplete. The PSU I ordered arrived fine, but instead of 2x 4pin Molex to SATA power converter cables I received 2 SATA cables (I need the converters because the new PSU does not have sufficient SATA power cables to power all my components in my PC).
I gave Wootware a call this morning and they will be sending me the Molex connectors for free and I get to keep the SATA cables. Great service from them, so Iām happy. Just have to wait a bit longer now to install the new PSU.

Those guys are awesome. Even if you tell them off the bat, youāre not buying, theyāll still give you all the time in the world.
This is something I fight with daily - MOST companies in South Africa has no sense and its the cause of so many peopleās illnesses. We need to have a restructure and training of senior management in most companies. And have proper HR offices that actually works - most HR departments are only there to cover the companyās ass, not to help the employees as they are supposed to.
