What I like about the reply module is that is almost operated independently, so you can even go to a different thread and still have your half-typed comment open, and when you hit reply it goes to the thread you actually wanted to reply to. It’s really robust.
I might’ve mentioned it earlier, but it’s one of the many benefits of a SPA. Elements (like the reply box) can stay open while you navigate throughout the site. You never actually leave the single page, the content just refreshes in an asynchronous fashion on the single page, replacing bits and pieces of content on the page with new content. The fact that a reply is associated with the original post / topic ID means it can stay open while you’ve seemingly navigated away.
The URL that changes is just the browser’s history state being modified client side, but that URL still represents a physical “page” that can be rendered by the server. So the moment you refresh the browser, the server knows to load that specific topic / post that you were viewing and continue the SPA experience from there.

I’m really annoyed with Makro. Ordered stuff online on Black Friday for Christmas and it still hasn’t been delivered. They don’t answer their phones and they don’t reply to emails. People are fuming. One guy wants to organise that we all go there and tip over their shelves this weekend hehe.
I can tell you one thing, I’m never ordering online from Makro again.
