Valve doesn’t care anymore. I mean I’ve never thought of them as anything but the most hopelessly overrated developer ever l, but they should just stick to managing Steam.

I tend to agree with @Murph on this one. HL3 will never happen. Valve has no incentive to go down that route at all. Firstly, it doesn’t matter what game they make, they will never be able to live up to the hype that has surrounded HL3 up to this point. And if they release something that does not live up to the hype, the internet will burn them at the stake. Secondly, why would they make games and actually work if they can just go to work and watch money rolling in via Steam
