Wife got stuck in assassins creed this weekend.
Today she took my advice and put the headphones on. Her face was priceless. She loved it. Kept saying I didn’t know games had all those background noises.
Now she wants us to jointly save up for a better headset so she can play for longer

dude, open up a standard bank account and book/pay for home affairs shit online and go to a Standard Bank branch to do the shit. Seriously, I wasted 3 days of my life trying to deal with home affairs. The Standard Bank route took (including opening the account) 3 hours. And I’ve done my passport renewal, my son’s passport, my creditcard style ID and my wife’s ID

Yeah I’ll definitely go a different route next time. I did the application online but had problems selecting a bank. So I thought that since the application was done it would be quick. Then application day at home affairs was a nightmare even though I did everything online. And then to go fetch the passport was even worse. You’d think you can just pick it up but for some reason it takes most of the day.
Yeah, the bank you pay from is the only bank you can select to deal with the application. In Cape Town it’s Standard Bank Canal Walk Only.

My wife wasn’t a gamer at all when we started dating. At the time I was playing WoW and she just didn’t get why I liked playing it. So I had her sit down and start her own character. It was all down hill (up hill?) from there.
We got WoW working on their shitty home PC and she played using her mobile data.
Since then she has played a wide range of games, she mostly likes FPS or FPS RPG type games. I’m glad I got my wife into gaming, so now we have a common hobby and we both have our own gaming PC.

I did that with Diablo 3 - wife completed 4 of the 5 acts in two days. didnt move from the xbox.
She then got over it until we started playing co-op at night.
I hated it. Her character leveled up so fast and she would always remind me.

she likes the whole 3rd person stuff. Maybe we can bring the second tv from storage in pmb and she will let me turn the kids room into a gaming room
