OMW so can i just express my annoyance with my parentals… they have gone and rent out a house to people without a lease agreement… now the people have stopped paying for rent and are of course avoiding them. so now they are struggeling to get rid of these people cause 1. there i8s no rental agreement; 2. there are children involved and 3. they have almost no details of the people who were “renting” from them.
now i have to of course try and sort this sh1t out cause i work at attorneys and you know can get these things sorted for less than what the attorneys in their town ask… SIGH drives me insane, that people cant just use common sense…
this is now going to be such a protracted and expensive exercise to get rid of these people
You can just make life uncomfortable for them. Put a washer in the connection just before the meter. This restricts water flow. You are not infringing their human right to water, but minimal water is uncomfortable and most people don’t know about the washer. I think a water meter is a 3/4 or 1 inch connection.
Call the municipality and cut the power if they not paying their bills. A reconnection fee is cheaper than a drawn out legal battle.

My ouma het ook properties gehad. Sy het darem rental agencies gebruik, maar sjoe die damage wat die mense gedoen het was scary! Deure gesteel, ligte, handvatsels ens - basies alles wat nie vas was nie het hulle gevat. Ons moes die huise 3 keer oor doen binne toe verkoop ons maar
ja nee, die plek lyk soos a shack op die oomblik dis 2 slaapkamer plek en daar bly op die oomblik 10 mense… 6 kinders en 4 groot mense en ek dink net 1 van die groot mense werk op die oomblik. die gras in die agterplaas is meters hoog op plekke en ander plekke is daar net vullis wat oorals le. hulle was/is ook besig om die verf van die mure af te trek en het a gat in die dak gemaak om a aerial op te sit…
