Our staff meeting was only about the general future direction of the organization, which I’m happy with. We’ll be getting our new position offers (I say position, not job, since I’m a volunteer) in the next week or so… So I’m still in limbo.
As long as I’m still here for the hockey match at the end of the month. I made the cut!

Dunno what time that happened, but I was driving home last night about 19:30 and we all drove about 30km/h since the rain was so heavy visibility was gone

So, sounds like they want to scale back the IT here (getting rid of servers, backups, etc…) and while I’d still help with whatever desktop support, they have other things for me to do, so it sounds like I’ll be sticking around.
