You did congratulate, thanks! I’ll see what I can arrange regarding the games and cake and we’re definitely looking for more female developers. I find them to be able to better handle client pressure and more stable from a contingency point of view. Will see if @wenzdayz is able to handle the pressure of the insurance industry.

hahaha i did the insurance industries legal work for years! mostly car insurance claims though. there is nothing nicer that dealing with an irate client wanting their excess back immediately if an accident was not their fault

Luckily we don’t deal with the consumers… YET. We’re involved at quite a large insurance administrator revamping their whole broker-facing solution, but we’re on the verge of launching a consumer-facing insurance offering for a client we got on board middle last year (Pineapple) that’s been garnering quite some excitement in the industry. It’s exceedingly complex (5 applications tiers of different tech stacks integrating with one another) and there’s huge expectations of a smooth launch, especially since it’s backed by 2 large insurers.
