Missed opportunity to incorporate this legendary theme song…

Obviously it would be slowed down, epic movie horn blows (a staple since Inception), maybe an old music box playing the dee doo dee doo dee doo bit… and then the main hook would be played on violins…

And YouTube provides!

Edit: After listening all the way through I can 100% that this would work perfectly for the trailer

Woaw, the origin story I didn’t know I wanted, but now I do.

Actually, near the end of the trailer, you can hear a bit of the original theme.

Gives me ‘Spy’ vibes…

Which is one of my favourite movies. Even has the same villain…

So will give it a try.

Speaking of which, Bobby Cannavale really loves playing villains…

Out Friday 19th. Presumably streaming via the new Paramount+ service.

Also out this week (from Thursday) on HBOMax is the much hyped, long awaited Zack Snyder Justice League cut. It has a new trailer:

And some early reviews on it are saying pretty positive things:

IGN: Zack Snyder’s Justice League is a surprise vindication for the director and the fans that believed in his vision. With a mature approach to its superhero drama, better-realized antagonists, and improved action, Snyder’s version of Justice League saves the movie from the dustbin of history, something that likely only could’ve happened on a streaming platform like HBO Max. Though not every addition feels totally necessary, and some new visual effects stick out as unpolished, it’s hard to overstate how much more enjoyable this version of Justice League is. The Theatrical Cut is dead. Long live The Snyder Cut. Zack Snyder’s Justice League debuts on HBO Max on March 18.

Oh, and if you’re a little thrown by the almost square aspect ratio (it’s 1.33:1) and are wondering WTAF?! here’s the low down on why… TL:DW Spoiler: The movie is presented in a close to Academy ratio of 1.33:1 with Snyder’s stated reasoning being that if the film ever goes to IMAX, it will preserve the same aspect ratio you’ll see the movie in at home.

if john cena does not RKO someone I am going to be really disappointed.

Looks like one of those stupid funny movies like deadpool, so I will give it a watch.

Why would John Cena RKO someone. Surely he’d rather FU them? I’m out of the loop with wrestling though, haven’t watched it in years.
