Black Widow - 9 July

Looks like a fair bit of animated fun for the whole family.

A quirky, dysfunctional family’s road trip is upended when they find themselves in the middle of the robot apocalypse and suddenly become humanity’s unlikeliest last hope!
Watch The Mitchells vs. The Machines only on Netflix on April 30.

I would if I could but already splitting one :stuck_out_tongue:

I don’t know why the preview doesn’t work. It’s the trailer for Army of the Dead. Zack Snyder zombie movie with Dave Bautista.

Man, that looked promising up until the whole evolved zombie thing where they can think and form armies with leaders and bards that sing and scientists that do calculus and stuff.

I like zombie movies where the zombies are zombies. Sure, some of them can be a bit smarter and figure out how to get past an obstacle and stuff like that but I draw the line at zombies that turn evil and become monarchs and wear crowns and do shopping online.

Agreed! Watched it last night, loved it.

Looks like more of the blockbusters are heading back to the traditional cinema release. Online only and simultaneous releases to streaming services were nice for a while. Happy for the Yankees that they’re feeling confident enough to head back to the cinema, but I sure as heck aren’t so comfortable with the idea here at the moment. Personally, it’s going to take a lot more vaccinations before I feel comfortable sitting in an enclosed space with a bunch of strangers.

Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard. In (US) cinemas from 16 June. Ryan Reynolds, Samuel L. Jackson, Salma Hayek, with Antonio Banderas, and Morgan Freeman.
