Official SpaceX Thread

Imagine ULA and SpaceX working together.

I read about that, as well as the latest on NASA’s proposed budget cuts from the US government. They then went and said: “By the way, we know you were planning to return to the moon by 2028, but we think 2023/4 would be better.” So they’re effectively cutting five years of NASA’s planned timeline AND giving them less money to do the job. Typical bureaucratic thinking.

The argument is now, NASA can save time and money by using an existing launch vehicle like the Falcon. However, you don’t just lash up a spacecraft to any old rocket and expect it to work, not with the amount of time they have available.

Saw this last night, the hype is real! And they still stick the landing on a pad as well for extra flair.
And Starship Prototype MK1 and MK2 is coming along well.

Awesome footage. It’s like Buck Rogers and Mars Attacks rolled into one.

SpaceX is preparing to launch its first people into orbit on Wednesday using a new Crew Dragon spaceship. NASA astronauts Bob Behnken and Doug Hurley will pilot the commercial mission, called Demo-2.

Do you really want to blast into space on a ship called Demo-2?
