This is amazing!
It reminds me of the work being done on the RoboHand project that was started right here in South Africa. Not bionic, but a way to get low-cost prosthetics to people who could otherwise not afford them.

Its also very similar to this project - I was going to do an article on it but technically its old news now. But I love the art inspirations - its not just the metal gear hand, but all their other projects - where they make prostetics beautiful and unique
