Seems it runs on my laptop, so I started up a fitness instructor for the lolz. Steam cloud saves don’t seem to be a thing unfortunately, and it wouldn’t let me log in with the credentials from my other PC either…
So we’ll see how things go

Yip, no cloud saves, probably due to how big the save files eventually get. You might still be able to copy over the save to your laptop, but I haven’t tested that.

An eventful evening. The town finally lost all power. And then the water went soon after. Priorities changed to medical supplies and canned food.
@Slinx called in support and NotSlinx joined. He lasted one expedition though. He said he is quickly going into the forest, but did not return.
@Darthmol, or should I say Leonardo Da Vin Diesel, met his end in our parking lot. He voluntarily ripped off the bandage around his neck. His second death was at the hands of my crowbar.
@Dragonic joined us in the dark, and already had a neck wound. I replaced his ragged bandage with a proper sterilised bandage, and it seems he may just make it.
Things are looking bleak. We may have enough canned food, but we lack skills to create a valid settlement, and the lack of water and power could ruin us in the long run. And now we woke up to a fog settling on the town, foreboding and depressing…
It is the end… This is how we died…

That storage area was a huge find, the map too, but at what cost 
We are left with dwindling water supplies, no fuel for our generator, and no one with faming skills. It’s not looking good 
Next session we will need to split up and gather all remaining water from the sinks in the nearby houses, and someone needs to learn some damn farming!

At least the power and water has been restored irl, but no such luck in the game. Pretty impressive though that the zombies could keep the power consistently on for longer than Eskom can do it.

I’m over 16 hours without power at home right now… And we had a small swarm of grasshoppers/locusts on premises yesterday.

Sums it up pretty well.
I would advise though, the less you know about the game the better. Maybe personal preference, but I like discovering things in-game, and in this game, after 160 hours, I’m still discovering new shit.
Speaking of which, next session when?
