The PUBG Corp. will be releasing a third map, a 4kmx4km island, with public testing for it beginning in early April.

Maybe you are right. Maybe it is to grab some Fortnite players. I mean, it’s a more colourful map and it’s smaller.

I think a smaller map will be fun. Having to trek all the way across the map when the circle decides to go the other side can be a bit dreary.
