Renowned New Zealand company developing a new game set in the Middle-earth universe of J.R.R. Tolkien
Private Division, a publishing label of Take-Two Interactive Software, Inc. (NASDAQ: TTWO), today announced they have signed a new publishing agreement with Wētā Workshop, best known for their work on Middle-earth for The Lord of the Rings film trilogy. In 2014 Wētā Workshop founded an interactive game division and are now developing a new game set in the Middle-earth universe of J.R.R. Tolkien. Middle-earth Enterprises have licensed the literary works of the series, providing Wētā Workshop with the broadest creative license to interpret the underlying lore of the books.

Fortunately, it seems to be an issue with a new listing that went into the Windows Defender database that is now triggering the flood of false-positive warnings.
Doesn’t mean that your not so tech savvy family and friends aren’t going to be calling you in a panic. Hopefully it’s resolved quickly enough and a patch pushed quickly enough that most people won’t even know it happened.
It seems Adobe has acquired Figma for a heft $20b.
Adobe is deeply committed to keeping Figma operating autonomously and I will continue to serve as CEO, reporting to David Wadhwani. David is someone I’ve known for a few years now and we have a strong relationship of mutual respect; I’m very excited for us to collaborate with him on how to continue growing Figma’s business. The entire Figma team will report to me. We plan to continue to run Figma the way we have always run Figma — continuing to do what we believe is best for our community, our culture and our business.
I thought this was a nice touch and nicely relayed for younger minds. Not to mention the little PDF that allows for family commitment and accountability.
