We used to have a thread like this on MyGaming for people to post their thoughts and opinions on games they had finished.

You can either indicate whether you recommend a game or not, or you can give it a rating out of ten. More importantly post a few comments on your experience.

Firewatch
I recently finished this and thoroughly enjoyed it. The art style and voice acting are superb and it tells an interesting story. Many people have complained about the ending but I don’t share that complaint - it wrapped things up nicely but also left some questions hanging which for me made it more authentic. Life doesn’t always give you all the answers, things don’t all work out in the end.

Firewatch is certainly more than a “walking-simulator” - yes the actions are fairly limited but are enough to get immersed in the experience.

I recommend Firewatch, it is short but if you grab it on special it is well worth it.

I finally got around to finishing Tyranny last night.

I enjoyed it quite a bit. Another great modern CRPG, it’s awesome that the genre has seen such a massive resurgence over the past few years. It does lack the polish of Obsidian’s own Pillars of Eternity series and there were a few times I got a bit annoyed, mostly during combat situations.

The story is pretty decent and what you would expect from Obsidian if you are familiar with their games, except that in this game you are basically the bad guy. It was fun (and strangely a bit hard) to be evil for a change.

Can recommend if you enjoy games like Divinity, Wasteland, Torment, etc. If I had to score it, it would be 7.5/10

Bought Pony Island on sale and finished it today.

Contains ponies and “hacking” — 10/10, would pony (up) again.
