And now, onto the Semi Finals against the Pommies on Saturday…
Quarter Finals were not good to me - drop from second to fourth on the MEW Superbru leaderboard. @wenzdayz crushing it though - up two places and over 2 points clear
I see @Avatar in the Top 10 too still. Anyone else there using a non-MEW name?
I am doing much better in the Cricket World Cup pools at the moment though:
Currently 10th in the World, 8th in South Africa. And that’s all based on pure thumb sucked predictions so far - I haven’t been able to watch a single CWC match yet.
I didn’t even know there were rugby and cricket world cup pools, womp womp.
Swak!
Well, ANOTHER heart attack of a match. I honestly didn’t think we’d make it!
That was too close! But we got it in the end.
Yeah I pretty much wrote us off lol. Classic pessimist.
Proteas and Springboks took down England in one day, oof.
A win is a win! But two single point matches, a relatively poor Bok performance, and a powerful resurgent All Black team suggest they have some serious prep to do before the Final.
One of the SuperSport pundits after the game said it well(can’t remember who it was), maybe they need this slump to fight hard for the win. One can only hope.
Is everyone ready for a nail biter?
And a nail biter it was! But we pushed through in the end! BOKKE!
3 weeks in a row featuring heart attacks. And Proteas gave us a Heart attack on Friday as a warm up for the RWC Final.
SA got no awards at the World Rugby Awards ceremony last night… Bryan Habana got inducted into the hall of fame, and Eben made it to the dream team. Thats it! Ireland made team of the year because they won the Six Nations, and Andy Farrell is coach of the year… Feels like these awards were decided before the world cup even began!
