@Solitude so to carry on what I was saying about ‘Annihilation’
I was confused at the ending as to if there was a switch with Natalie Portman, because of their eyes at the end, but I went and checked it out again and seems like it is actually the real Portman while he ‘kane’ is a ‘duplicate’.
So seems like he is a duplicate with the shimmer cells in him but she is the original but also with the shimmer cells in her. So even though the original alien was burnt up it seems like it lives on in them.
Something like that
