This is all very interesting and I like it! I am way more interested in the Frame VR headset though!

Also, SteamOS now runs on ARM?!

And, where can I find some pricing?

Yeah, this is the make or break. What a time to try and launch a new hardware ecosystem, with NAND and DRAM prices basically doubling in the past few months.

More VR, more better

Really?

Perhaps I haven’t used it enough or haven’t had much exposure across products/brands but I still very much see VR as a niche market and quite gimmicky.

Yeah its niche but if more hardware across more price scales become available I think it won’t have to be niche.

I won’t call it gimmicky though, sure some games are super gimmicky but those are those stupid Batman VR games , or enter movie title here VR.

Games built from the group up for VR is amazing, things like Half Life Alyx or Moss where the controls just feels right or makes sense to be in VR. Some “gimmicky” games like Beat Saber still can be picked up at anytime however.
Then playing any racing game in VR also feels so much better for me. I actually feel like I drive better when I play in VR.
Side note: some games not even made for VR can feel pretty cool for giving you a sense of scale, like Elite Dangerous. Or have that amazing underwater feeling like Subnautica.
