Role-playing games (RPG's) are great. They (usually) allow us to create our own characters, pick our class and choose how we want to level up the character as we progress through the game. Sometimes the playable character is set, for example Witcher 3 or ELEX, but at the end of the day you can still make your own version, your own build, of that character.
I’m Always a DPS Ranged if possible. I have been not so politely asked to NEVER ever play a healer - I tend to forget to heal or leave the health right till the last second to hear grown men scream!
Tanking is also not my thing, I just never enjoyed it at all.
I normally play DPS in my group of friends, but the funny thing is sometimes we tend to branch out and play other classes and even though I’ve played Healer and or Tank (and i’m not to bad at it) i just feel comfortable being the DPS main.
Always Tank or DPS. normally a barbarian or someone with a big fuck off sword.
Lately, I have been experimenting with more agile builds. Dual wielding or ranged. Thinks like rogues or elves in the classic sense. But I somehow always end up back at tank.
I pretty much always go with a MAGE build. Love me some fireballs! This is probably coz i started off my RPG escapades with Baldurs Gate as a mage class, and have fondness for it since then
It depends, but my play style generally suits a rouge like character. I prefer to do ranged damage before getting up close and personal to finish the job. But then again, combat should be my last resort.
Due to my lack of skill I like big armor and big swords. Least I can run away and heal.
Diablo 2 I played Barb and D3 I played as a Crusader to completion then started a monk class when I play D3 with my wife.
Exactly this. There was even a couple of mene pictures about it.
I always end up rolling a ranged, sneaky character. I dislike being confronted with frantic combat and relish in silent, ranged kills where the enemy preferably didn’t see it coming.
