damn a bit late, think I may watch a VoD tomorrow instead. Can’t wait though, Wolverine definitely looked good from the state of play last year.

Same for me. Have an early morning tomorrow. And besides, I’m not as young as I used to be - can’t handle a midweek midnighter any more. Heck, even the main SGF show on Friday into Saturday may be a challenge :older_man:t2:

Not going to spoil it, there are some damn good games on the way, too bad most are going to be PS5 exclusive one in particular at the end of the state of play which I am really looking forward to.

EDIT: Also, turns out it was a good thing that we did not watch live, apparently the bitrate of the streams were quite choppy, if we can get some 4k video of the state of play, I think the games would really shine then

:video_game: Top Game Rumours and Speculation

  • Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3: Multiple sources, including prominent leaker Nate the Hate, heavily hint at a first official teaser trailer from Square Enix, potentially revealing the trilogy’s final subtitle.

  • Persona 6: Atlus and Sega recently scrambled to remove accidental product listing leaks that reportedly showed two new protagonists. This has positioned the title as a prime candidate for a major showcase closer or headlining spot.

  • Guild Wars 3: ArenaNet is confirmed to attend the event. Fans are highly speculating that they will officially announce a full numbered sequel rather than just a regular expansion for Guild Wars 2.

  • Capcom Showcases: Rumours point toward Capcom debuting a Resident Evil: Code Veronica remake or an update on Resident Evil Requiem DLC. Additionally, a Street Fighter 6 Season 4 pass featuring Tifa Lockhart from Final Fantasy 7 is heavily rumored.

  • Alien Isolation 2: Following a cryptic “False Sense of Security” teaser posted on social media by Sega and Creative Assembly, a full gameplay reveal or cinematic is heavily anticipated.

  • Sega Remakes: Rumours persist that Sega may drop fresh footage or release timelines for its upcoming Crazy Taxi reboot.

  • Mass Effect 5 / Judas: Speculation suggests we could see a surprise update from BioWare regarding the next Mass Effect, as well as Ken Levine’s Judas.

  • Injustice 3 / Metro 2039: Community wishlists and platform mega-threads have highlighted these as potential surprise world premieres.

:loudspeaker: Confirmed Appearances to Balance the Hype

While those are the unverified rumors, host Geoff Keighley has officially confirmed several titles to ground expectations:

  • Star Wars: Zero Company: First-ever gameplay footage of the XCOM-style tactical strategy game by Bit Reactor and Respawn.

  • Clutch: The debut open-world racing trailer from Maverick Games (composed of former Forza Horizon developers).

  • Paramount Games Studio: Variety reported that the newly formed studio will reveal its very first AAA title during the show.

  • Blood Message: The Chinese Tang Dynasty-era action-stealth game from NetEase/24 Entertainment.

  • Fortnite: A new trailer for the upcoming season, “Runners,” presented by actor Ben Starr.

Will post up some links to the full presentations shortly and maybe do a couple more standalone posts with trailers in them a bit later in the week. One for the Xbox showcase and then selected trailers from the smaller events in another.
