maybe also check what windows updates you have installed, lately there has been a sting of them that break systems

just google “windows 10 update broken”

Have you tried disabling any sound drivers you are not using? Like I know specifically the sound device on my AMD card causes crashes.

Windows is completely up to date - will have a look at that

I have no idea what sound drivers to uninstall

That tested perfectly - not one issue

Do you all wanna hear the part that pisses me off the most - the its not crashed since 10am now. . . .

Try setting Nvidia Power Management to Optimal Power. Might be caused when it goes into low power mode during idle.

What I can say is I left my pc on overnight (needed to finish the download for plagues tale) and it hasnt crashed since 4pmish

Then we also played Borderlands 3 last night not one glitch or blip.

So I really don’t think it is the gfx card.

I did find this:

I am gonna attempt this next.

But weirdly it tells me my pc is up to date and I cannot install it.

Computers can be so sucky. It’s the worst having a problem and not knowing what’s causing it.

The one that says requires a restart - I have shut down and restarted the pc 4 times now - no luck to get it to finish

The part that pisses me off the most - this is a clean fresh install of windows

But that might be the reason I have these issues

EDIT/UPDATE
Its been about 5 hours not a single weird thing has happened thusfar.

I think I can breathe again, but I am to scared to become hopeful
