Christ Vodacom are blatant thieves.
I got subscribed to some bullshit content services middle of this year (and as a tech savvy person im not just clicking links and shit or agreeing to anything or even replying to sms’s). I put a BLOCK on my mnumber and did the vodacom unsubscribe.
Since then every 2 weeks or so I get an sms saying “Your request for PK Google GetProv Name was rejected due to content block that is set on XXXXX”
So I’m going - well its working then.
NOPE. just noticed now my monthly estimated bill is like R100 higher than it normally is, and i got an sms stating that i’m signed up for a content service…yet when i follow the vodacom USSD it tells me im not signed up for any services…yet im being billed fucking daily amounts… How are they allowed to get away with this shit???
